Gameplay You start in a randomly-generated world made entirely of cubes. The goal of this project is to create a free clone (or imitation) of Minecraft. Survive, gather, hunt, mine for ores, build houses, explore, and do much more. I can see in the Minetest logs that the weather keeps changing so that's nice I guess. MineClone2 is a survival sandbox game that is still a work in progress. I have 2 Odroid C4's, a laptop and a desktop that cannot connect at this point. In the client, the server info (ping/player count) also doesn't show for this server. It is also my NAS/SMB share so I can connect to the device for other services, it's just Minetest that doesn't want to connect. When I try to telnet to this IP and port from my computer I get "Connection refused".Įdit: I also run a Minecraft server on the same hardware and I have gathered the above information over SSH. When I run ss -tulpn, the server is bound to 0.0.0.0 port 30000, but the state is not LISTEN but UNCONN. I have checked iptables but there are (still) no rules. 14:53:56: ACTION: set_random_weather() changed the weather from clear to snow 14:22:31: WARNING: register_ore: ore type requires 'noise_params' but it is not specified, falling back to defaults (at /usr/share/minetest/builtin/game/a:497) 14:22:30: ACTION: Mod initialized with 1 custom skin(s) 14:22:26: ACTION: load_weather() changed the weather from clear to clear 14:22:26: ACTION: hb.register_hudbar: armor ![]() 14:22:23: ACTION: doc.mt successfully read. 14:22:23: ACTION: hb.register_hudbar: hunger 14:22:22: ACTION: hb.register_hudbar: breath 14:22:22: ACTION: hb.register_hudbar: health 14:22:05: : Automatically selecting world at Here is the output from the last restart:. The server has 16GB RAM of which about half is used. Right now, it has taken about 400MB of RAM and uses very little CPU. There is no output in debug that indicate connections, it appears to sit idle. I have checked the server configuration, restarted the process and the entire device a few times, but unfortunately this did not fix the problem. ![]() ![]() Today I wanted to play with one of my kids but we both got "Connection Timed Out", while I didn't change any configuration on the device, LAN/WAN or game. Sometimes a friend connects over the internet to play with us. I have a Minetest server running for a few years that me and my kids use to play on.
